Midas was a tool for creating Moodle question banks — exportable as Aiken, GIFT, and Moodle XML formats.
Midas was built during the pandemic to accommodate teachers at the university I attended while they transitioned to online classes. Some teachers proved to be incapable of independently figuring out the flaws in their prepared question files so I made a tool that would simplify the creation of said question files.
I have no interest in maintaining it now that I’m untethered from the academic environment.
- Midas stood for “Moodle is dumb as shit.”
